Lloyd Edge is a passionate property investor and licensed buyer's agent who has achieved financial independence through strategic property investing. He is the author of Positively Geared, a book in which he wrote about his journey from teacher to building up a multi-million dollar property portfolio and achieving financial independence while still on a teachers’ salary. Positively Geared is published by well known international publisher John Wiley and Sons and aims to inspire people to achieve their dreams. He explains step by step how to set an effective investment strategy, how Australia is still the lucky country and that Australian’s can still get onto the property ladder with a minimal deposit and achieve their goals.
Lloyd and Aus Property Professionals have been a finalist in the REINSW awards for excellence and the Real Estate Business (REB) awards on several occasions. He has also received ‘Your Investment Property’ Top Buyer’s Agent award.
In 18 years as a property investor and developer, Lloyd has accumulated a property portfolio worth over $12 million that is cash flow positive. A former teacher, Lloyd’s investment strategies allowed him to retire from the rat race and he now helps clients achieve their own financial and lifestyle goals.
Lloyd has featured and is a regular contributor in the media including news.com.au, realestate.com.au, Canstar, Australian Property Investor, Smart Property Investor and Your Investment Property. Lloyd has also been interviewed on top rating radio stations 2GB and 2UE, has featured on Ticker TV and is a regular guest on podcasts. Lloyd also has his own podcast called 'Positively Geared'.
Lloyd has a diverse range of investment strategies and places importance on achieving equity gains and maintaining a cash flow positive portfolio, quintessential to portfolio growth. His strategies allow him to “manufacture” equity without having to wait for the market to rise.
Working as a buyer's agent, Lloyd loves to help other people replicate his success and hopes that he can inspire others to follow in his footsteps and achieve their dreams.

Having a teaching background, Lloyd’s educational skills and excellent communication techniques prove invaluable to clients. Lloyd holds a Diploma in Property Services, is a fully licensed real estate agent and holds buyer's agent licences in multiple states. Lloyd is also a member of Property Investment Professionals Australia (PIPA), Property Investment Council of Australia (PICA) and Real Estate Institute of NSW (REINSW).
